Jean Murphy (Shodan)
What was your original motivation to start Kyudo?
I wanted to reconnect with the martial arts and old friends.
What do you now enjoy most about Kyudo?
My practice has had a few high points and many
lows, so I appreciate the fact that Kyudo is multi-faceted, much like a
diamond. There is a magnificent beauty when the light shines through.
When I am having problems in one area, I can draw on one of the other
facets of Kyudo to help keep me centered. I enjoy being with such an
eclectic group of people that all have a common bond.
Top Gun
The list is long, but to name just one, The
Haunted Mesa by Louis L'Amour stands out in the "just-for-pleasure"
category.
