What was your original motivation to start Kyudo?

It was an accident really. I just blew into the dojo one day and stayed....

What do you now enjoy most about Kyudo?

The challenge! As I have no hands or even limbs, shooting takes great ingenuity. I do enjoy taihai very much.

What is your favorite movie?

Gone With the Wind.

What is your favorite book?

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn

How would you describe yourself in 5 words or less?

Rather pointy but symmetrical. Quiet.

What other Martial Arts have you practiced? 

Tai Chi

What are your other outside interests and hobbies?

Hanging out in nature. 

If you could meet someone (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

Thoreau. I think he understood me and my kin better than anyone who ever lived.
